About Kelly
Kelly Cheng-Chieh Liu is a first-year Ph.D. student in English & American Literature at New York University. She is interested in Asian American literature and studies, the body/embodiment, affect studies, and critical race theory. She is also working on a speculative literary novel.
Kelly is a first-generation immigrant born and raised in Taiwan. She holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in English Literature from the City College of New York, where she taught composition and survey literature courses.
Her writing has appeared in the journal MELUS: Multi-Ethnic Literature of the United States.
